4. How to grow

Planting Preparation :

Chamomile flowers can be propagated through planting seeds, the seeds can be obtained at various agricultural stores. The planting distance should be about 15 cm apart.

In soil that has a pH of 5.6 to 7.5, is not dry and has sufficient fertilizer and can grow optimally in a cool atmosphere and protected from the sun.

Nursery :

The seeds selected are seeds that have good quality, healthy and not physically deformed. The seedling media used is a mixture of soil and compost.


Next, add 2-3 seeds and cover the container with clear plastic and avoid direct sunlight and place the plants in a cool place.

Watering should not be too dry or too wet because it makes the plants vulnerable to death.

Planting :

After the seedlings grow ½ cm or grow 1 seedling, you can immediately transfer it to a larger medium without damaging the plant roots. Plant Chamomile flowers with a spacing of 15 cm.



5. How to harvest

You can start harvesting chamomile flowers when the flowers are fully bloomed. Harvest the flowers in the morning after the dew has dried, as this is when the essential oil content in chamomile flowers is highest. Carefully cut the flowers and store them in a cool, dry place.
