Spider Mites

Whiteflies look tiny, winged insects have a delicate, and powdery white appearance. Usually, this pests feeding from the underside of leaves. Infested leaves turn to yellow and die, and the plant is often stunted. 

Apply an insecticidal soap or neem oil to the underside of the leaves, where the whiteflies immature stages will be. Treatment will probably need to be done weekly until no longer see any immature or adult whiteflies.

Fungus Gnats


Gnats are more of a nuisance than a pest. The immature stage feeds on plant roots and can cause growth problems. Fungus gnats are often a symptom of overwatering. Get rid of the Fungus Gnats with allowing the surface of soil in pots to dry between watering. 

Don't let water stand in saucers. You can drench the soil with biological insecticide Bacillus thuringiensis var. israelensis. And yellow sticky traps will help capture Gnats.



Scales mostly found on the underside of leaves and on stems. Scales have soft-bodied insects and tiny crawlers move a little as they feed. Scales infested leaves may turn yellow or drop off, and stems die back. Get control your plants from Scales with spray the plant using insecticidal soap or neem oil to smother crawlers.
